Amikai offers five content-specific APIs:

Text API

Translates a single passage of text, for applications that perform one translation at a time.

MultiText API

Receives multiple source text passages, returns multiple corresponding translations. Designed for applications that need to translate multiple pieces of content within a single transaction.

Email API

Optimized translations for email-related content. Handles opening and closing salutations, forwarding and reply marks in the body and subject line, and mail-specific terminology such as "enclosures" are among the supported translation improvements.

Chat API

Text translation that is optimized for chat-related content. Common chat phrases such as "What's up?", chat abbreviations such as "LOL", and chat shortcuts such as dropped punctuation are examples of the chat-specific content supported. The ChatAPI also supports translation into multiple target languages within a single request.

Search API

Designed for translation of individual search keywords, in order to enable cross-language searches. Ideal for integration with an existing search engine.
